Very convenient location.
Friendly staff, building had character, good range of drinks.
A bit close to the road, but mouse didn’t affect me sleeping.

This Pub has a warm heart! The owners work hard at making your stay memorable. Restaurant food is very good but the breakfast is exceptionable - everything a traditional English breakfast is renowned for. Nothing is too much trouble.
Ok, if I have to write something and I am scratching my head to find something to say, I would have liked my food to be served on larger plates, in particular my evening meal which was served on a plate so small and totally unnecessary that I had difficulty knowing where to start.

Very old pub, tastefully presented. Bar well stocked & comfortable. Room good size, clean & comfortable, Tv very small & sound poor quality!
Hosts were very friendly & welcoming.
Poor quality food, at dinner, very bland & tasteless. Poor menus choices.
