Beautiful rooms are not enough when guests cannot get a decent night’s sleep and the basic services fail to meet expectations. The hotel seriously needs to improve its sound insulation, breakfast quality, and overall guest experience.
The street noise in the evenings is intolerable, and it makes absolutely no difference whether the windows are open or closed. The hotel’s excuse that it is located in a tourist area that is always noisy is simply unacceptable. If you present yourself as a new four-star hotel, proper soundproofing should be a basic standard, not something guests have to compromise on. Even worse, the walls are paper-thin. You can literally hear someone snoring in the neighbouring room.
Unfortunately, breakfast is also far below what you would expect from a four-star hotel, and the coffee is terrible — if the coffee machine is even working.
