Nice but basic

Nice tent, good bed, close to twyfelfontein

Very basic, relatively expensive for what you get. Swimming pool in construction.

Recommend stop between Brandberg and Etosha

Jane (Camp-Manager) is fantastic, as is the rest of the staff. We were able to arrange for a private guide for an elephant tour (ask for Denzel). Food quite good!

Very sandy (would be nice to have a small paved patch in front of the tent). The tents are quite close so that you can hear your neighbor snoring, as well as the bathroom sounds.

7 / 10

Satisfactory stop for a couple of nights.

The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere but that is why we came. We were aware of the tent set up so it was not a surprise. Food was ample but nothing outstanding which I guess we could have anticipated for the location. Staff did a good job and provided good advice about which roads to take given the poor nature of much of the Namibian road network.

The tent was, not surprisingly for the time of year, very cold. The donkey water heating system was not up to scratch both mornings but was sorted in the end. Staff go onto it immediately when we raised the issue. Cost was high but so is the cost in the area.
