La rencontre avec la souricate, et les paysages.

Les chambres trop vieillissantes, je m’attendais à mieux pour le prix payé. La clim à changer et à adapter à notre époque, elle fait trop de bruit et elle refroidit rien.

Wir hatten die Honeymoon-Suite und diese befindet sich -nur mit 4x4 erreichbar- hinter einer tiefsandigen Trockenfluss-Durchquerung. Die Lage ist einzigartig, völlig in der Natur und in absoluter Ruhe. Nachts kam eine Elefantenherde und hat unseren -bis dahin wieder abgekühlten- Hot Tub ausgetrunken. Ein einzigartiges Erlebnis. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant ist gut und das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Es gibt nichts, das als besonders negativ zu erwähnen wäre! Ausser, dass der CheckIn und CheckOut sehr langwierig und kompliziert ist. Hier ist etwas Geduld gefragt.

Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Die Unterkunft war super. Die Lodge ein Traum, das Essen hervorragend und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Der Game Drive zu den Wüstenelefanten war der Hit 14 Wüstenelefanten aus nächster Nähe !

Gab nichts auszusetzen!

The honeymoon suite and the view of the mountain were incredible. Desert elephants wandering through the area, we managed to see one from the deck. The hot tub was a nice touch to be able to sit out after dark.

Firstly, we paid for one of the most expensive rooms in the place. The staff didn’t seem to know we were coming when we arrived. The room wasn’t set up with any soaps, water bottles, or anything you would expect from a room at that price - not to mention a “honeymoon” suite. Secondly, the food was pretty average. Thirdly, we had to ask to use our hot tub (wood heated) after dinner and this seemed to bother them - they were surprised that guests who paid for a room with a hot tub wanted to use it… Lastly, we asked in the morning for a late check out at 11am instead of 10am which was refused. The groundskeeper then suddenly came at 9am to start sweeping up and cleaning the deck right in front of the room which was advertised to be private and secluded…. We were showering and still enjoying the last hour in the room, so this was a massive invasion of privacy. We complained on check out and was told this guy is new. They didn’t offer anything to compensate besides an apology. At the prices this accommodation is charging, they need to up their game in terms of service.
