One of the coolest stays we had in Namibia. It's very secluded among the rocks, with a great view over the riverbanks. The tents are very comfortable and the beds are lovely. It can get cold at night, but if you bring a sweater it's no issue. Be aware that the bathrooms are somewhat open, so you might get a visit from a gecko or even a bird. The food was amazing, and so was the sunset drive. We would have loved to do the half-day tour to see the desert elephants. We'll definitely be back!

Ondjamba Hills ist unglaublich schön! Das Personal sehr sehr liebenswürdig und unser Guide Mister Emanuelle hat so eine große Verbindung zu den Elefanten, dass es ein leichtes war, die zwei Herden zu finden. Die Lage der Lodge ist unglaublich schön. Wir können Ondjamba wärmstens weiter empfehlen.
Auf unserer Reise denken wir immer wieder, es wäre schön, mal an einen Ort zu kommen, an dem das Abendessen überraschender ist. meistens gibt es halt gute Steaks, auch auf Ondjamba. eine aussergewöhnlichere Küche haben wir mal at Our Habitats Namibia kennengelernt, das war toll. Oder auch Waterber Guestfarm hat eine anderen Küche. Aber das Essen war gut, nur halt eben das, was es überall gibt.

So ein schöner Ort! Die Aussicht von der Lodge ist traumhaft schön. Die Zeltunterkünfte sind zweckmässig eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen war sehr gut. Unser Game Drive zu den Wüstenelefanten inkl. Mittagessen hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
