Nice old pub
Great location
Nice room, tastfully decorated. felt really comfortable with our room actually, couple of pointers but otherwise really liked it.
Nice outlook over the church at one end and the wall mural at the other.
Easy check in and out, didn't really see any staff exept at the bar to nab some water.
I loved the big window, and the outlook, but feel it could do with a slight curtain just a the bottom part so people can't see directly in at you, but still allowing you a view of the outside. Also a little concerned at how low it is for opening wide. It was fine for me, but it has no restrictions so someone could easily fall out of it.
The room is small, but cosy, but has no table in it at all, no dresser or any kind of surface space to lay things out when getting ready to go out. I took a little fold up table from the hallway, hopefully no one missed it, was very handy, I did replace it afterwards. but there is space in the room to put a table in the corner and another narrow one behind the door.
Would be great if they did breakfast!

Lovley character property right off the high street with free parking. Ate delicious food in the restaurant and my room was spotlessly clean, excellent facilities, and en suite. Staff were helpful and friendly, highly recommend.

Rooms had recently been redecorated, they’d been done well. Parking so close to the centre is a definite bonus.
Maybe point out it’s a code to get back in at night, not sure what the point of the key was!

Clean quiet rooms.
No breakfast !
Too pricey and no breakfast.
Other pubs on the high street charge less money and include breakfast.
Might be a good idea to include at least a continental or breakfast snack.
Water pressure in both rooms 3 & 5 too low
