Loved the old building - just wished we'd booked one of the more historic and larger first floor rooms. Good food and beer, great location and handy for car park. Very helpful staff. Comfortable for a small room, heating worked fine, nicely done up.
Stairs (fault of our legs, we know). Shower didn't work. Better reading lights would be good.

Location very good for the town. Good car parks around , no charge after 6.00 pm
Too noisy for me with people on our side seating the sound being funnelled up to my room. As the room was on the second floor very hot even in October. Stairs not suitable for any one with access difficulties.

in the centre of Glastonbury, parking in car park at the back of hotel, payment required during the day.
Staff were friendly, room was clean.
We had king Henry 8 room, up two flights of circular stairs (some felt a bit dodgy).
Four poster bed in room, room was 'dark', saw the room next door, and that was light and airy.
new chef had started in the morning and couldn't do an omelette. General manager apologised.
I ended up with the vegan breakfast as there was no vegetarian breakfast. the oil the chef used made it inedible.
it has made us think about booking a room with a breakfast again.
