All staff were very pleasant, especially Hilary who I think was assistant manager. The dining areas were excellent.
Not too keen on the annexe building we had to sleep in as it was a little "tired" and could be improved with simple additions such as more hanging space and hooks in the toilet area.

Lovely spaceous room, great friendly staff, good service
Room was warm, meant we had the windows open which in the morning meant we could hear general noise & staff chatting & smell the smoke from their smoking. Not idea if your wanted a lie in. Breakfast was a slight let down, as we were expecting a good hearty countryside cooked breakfast but let down by a national chain breakfast with cheap ingredients, however restaurant staff couldn't be more attentive tho.
