We had a wonderful stay, everyone was super nice. Our cleaning lady folded our clothes every morning, her attention to detail was noticed. The girl at the front with red hair was very happy and made sure to help with any questions and when we left she provided us with waters to go. The attendant female at the spa was exceptionally friendly and walked us trough the spa & explained everything. The spa was really nice and modern we enjoyed it as well as the gym. We also loved the location of the hotel, super close to the museum and decently close to the astronomical clock. Really close to many restaurants. We enjoyed the rooftop too.
We had such a great experience I wished I would have booked the W at Budapest instead of Matild Palace where we are currently staying. I could tell the difference in friendliness of the staff and amenities. Considering it’s in the same price range I wonder if I would have been better off sticking to the W Hotel here in Budapest too.

We loved this hotel. The moment we checked in, we were greeted with a refreshing beverage. The room was very comfortable. The spa facilities were available during our stay and after walking the streets of Prague, it was great to relax in the spa. The location was great as we walked everywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

What separates a truly exceptional hotel from a merely luxurious one is not the thread count or the minibar — it is whether the staff notices you.
During our stay at W Prague, the housekeeping team demonstrated a level of attentiveness that genuinely surprised us. On finding my glasses on the desk, they left a lens cleaning kit beside them. Noticing a cup by the sink, they placed dental floss inside it without being asked. When we returned from a day out, we found that the books we had left on the table each had a bookmark carefully placed in them — one per book, as if someone had quietly decided that our reading deserved to be respected too.
None of these were requested. None were part of a checklist. They were simply small, thoughtful acts that told us someone had walked into our room not just to tidy it, but to actually see how we were living in it.
In an era where luxury hospitality often means impressive lobbies and curated aesthetics, W Prague reminded us what genuine service feels like — personal, unhurried, and human.
We will be back.
