We chose this hotel for its breakfast and it delivered! We are a family of 4 with two young kids and there were plenty of delicious options for all of us. I have some food intolerances but had plenty of options to eat. Allergens are written in infographics on little cards next to each food. The hotel was quiet, clean and a great location to hop on a train or bus from Kyoto station. (It’s so close to the station that you can see the Shinkansen trains from the elevator)
However, the customer service was lacking. Staff weren’t very communicative at breakfast, check in or times where it would have helped. I don’t want to deter anyone but if you don’t know any Japanese you might struggle a bit at this hotel.
