The staff on reception when I checked in were very helpful and polite
The location works very well for me as I have a number of meetings in central birmingham
Unfortunately when I got into my room, the window catch was broken, so the room was very noisy. As I left the hotel for a meeting and then a function, I reported this to the team, and they said that they would ask a technician to fix the problem. I said if the window could not be fixed, then please contact me via email or my mobile to let me know so my things could be moved.
Unfortunately, I did not have any communication from the team, and when I returned back to the hotel assuming that that window was fixed, the night team had no information about it.
To cut a long storey short, I had to moved rooms after midnight into another room which was very annoying and frustrating after a long day.
