This is a good little 3-star hotel in a convenient part of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. I liked being able to explore the area on foot without having to arrange transport for every trip. The room was clean, and I had everything I needed to relax after a busy day out. The staff were particularly nice, always greeting me warmly and helping whenever I needed something.

The location is great, short walk to the famous train street.
Very dated and in need of renovations. The photos on booking.com are old, since there was a lot of wear and tear in the room which was very misleading. It was also down a back alley which could be a bit sketchy, especially for me as a solo female traveler. It is a bit difficult to find since it isn’t on the main street. Luckily I had booked an airport ride through the hotel so when i arrived, they greeted me at the car and walked me to the hotel. There was also someone above me that was stomping around and making so much noise late into the evening and early in the morning that was so disruptive. I was on the 6th floor so I am not sure if it was another guest room above me or what. Either way, it made it difficult to sleep on my second night. The door to the balcony was completely broken so I couldn’t even lock it. Thankfully I was on the 6th floor so I didn’t necessarily have to worry about someone breaking into my room from that broken door. The bed was also very very firm.

So clean and check in process was best I’ve ever experienced. So thorough, quick. Heidi checked us in both days and was phenomenal!! Exceptional customer service and was so nice!

Tucked away in a relatively quiet location near Train Street, the hotel offers good value for money. The deluxe quadruple rooms were spacious, and the location was convenient. The bathroom was a little small, but having a separate shower cubicle was a plus, as it helped keep the rest of the bathroom dry, something that isn't always common in Hanoi hotels.
However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The reception area felt more like a travel agency promoting additional tours than a conventional hotel reception, and the staff's friendliness sometimes felt a little over the top. The air conditioning was quite weak and took a couple of hours to make the room reasonably comfortable. The staff did arrange a fan, which was appreciated, though we had two rooms and received only one fan. There were also some maintenance and housekeeping issues. The sink was clogged when we checked in, and I had to manually adjust the stopper, which was quite stiff. The room could have smelled more "fresh".
