The location is fantastic. The view is amazing. Yes the carpet is a little tired but honestly for what you pay, you can’t beat it - especially being so close to the Elizabeth Line. You can be in central London within 20 mins. The other reviews don’t give this room justice imo. I’ve stayed 3 times and I have only ever had the en suite room and the other room’s bathroom IS private - you just have to leave the room to access. Really not a big deal. Plus the bar on the nearby Hotel Sunborn is bloody great for a late night cocktail! 🍹

This should be at least an 8/10 but I agree with the other reviews - ensuring the TV works, that there is milk available for hot drinks (even UHT cartons would do!), refining the instructions so people know not to walk along the river but with the hotels on your LEFT not right and the big one - telling people IN ADVANCE about needing to collect the keys from 10 mins away. This was my 3rd stay so I knew but to not release those details until 3pm on the day of check in is a real issue and the owners should take note of that as the review score would increase.

The apartment I paid for was eventually a nice, clean stay with good facilities, location and links for my work visit to the Excel. Nice balcony, facilties in the kitchen were useful and clean. Bedroom was warm and shower was clean and hot.

Keys were not available on arrival. The host advised they had been accidentally left inside and arranged a spare. Key Safe staff (seperate) kindly helped me get the spare, took an hour to check in eventually so late with work. Misleading listing - I booked a private apartment with a private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen and hairdryer. The accommodation was actually a shared two-bedroom apartment with separately rented rooms and a shared toilet. There was no kitchen or hairdryer, only a kettle and mini fridge... clearly incorrect accomodation which I didnt pay for. The room did not match the listing photos. The host assured me I would be the only guest and that I would be safe and alone. The sheets had not been changed and were covered in hair, skin and eyelashes. I had to contact the host and wait two hours for a cleaner to return. On returning at 7 pm, the flat stank of w**d. The host suggested it was coming from a neighbour. At 3 am, a male guest entered the flat and checked into the second room. This was frightening and uncomfortable, particularly as I had booked private accommodation and had been assured I would be alone. I checked out immediately. Hours later, the host relocated me to what they described as a nicer three-bedroom Airbnb as a favour. However, this was actually the room shown in the original listing, so basically I had initially been given accommodation that did not match what I paid for. overall the stay was misleading, inconvenient and tiring given i had come for work and paid for something which i had hassle to finally get. The repeated issues caused significant disruption, fatigue and lost time during a work trip when I had long days and substantial work commitments. the final place itself was good, just be vigilant.
