Tha location was great,, Pauline & Bill were the perfect hosts, very welcoming & friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. The cooked breakfast was delicious & Jasper the dog was beautiful. We wish them all the best for their future plans.
Absolutely nothing.

Delicious breakfast. Very friendly owners. Cozy and comfortable room. So close to the Oxenholme train station.
Dark road at night to get home so need a flashlight but worth it for the gorgeous night sky.

I stayed here for two nights on my way up to Scotland. Pauline and Bill were excellent hosts and the guest house is lovely - every detail has been thought of, from the range of teas in the room to the mini torch on the room key to the homemade marmalade at breakfast. The bed was comfortable, the room very quiet with no road noise at all, and a hearty breakfast freshly cooked to order.
Can't think of anything that could be improved!
