Felt cosy and warm, comfortable room and felt homely. Liked how central it was and the staff were friendly.

Price for location. Cozy room, comfy bed, quiet. Hot water takes a while to come, but is really hot. Slept really well, definitely would return. I was out during café hours, so can’t comment on the food.
The tele remote didn’t work and they didn’t resolve that when I let them know. They didn’t replenish coffee supplies or water the second day. Bedside three legged table is tippy.

Location.
Our room was a looking a little tired. Probably time for a makeover. Mattress uncomfortable (too soft meaning you could feel your partner moving); Rooms were supposed to be serviced daily, but in the 2 days we were there ours only had a bin change and the bottled water replenished. The bed was not made, the towells were not changed and teabags & coffee not replenished. Also, due to the age of the property it was quite noisy. You could hear every door slam and creak of floorboards above. Something we'd not considered on booking.
