Beautiful building in a stunning part of the Cotswolds. We enjoyed great food in the Travelling Duke and amazing entertainment in the Late lounge. The staff were friendly, efficient and polite. Leisure facilities were clean and relaxing. We stayed in a standard double room and it was very comfortable with a super shower and a fridge. We will return!
Not a dislike necessarily but this is a large hotel/resort. We stayed in the south wing which was near the Travelling Duke where we dined and the entertainment. Other places to eat were a short walk away and accessible by a lift if needed at points. The leisure facilities were located a 10/15 minutes walk from our room. In our group there was a range of ages from 46 to 87. We used the facilities but it was a bit far for some of our group. A great resort to get your steps in if you do desire and lots to keep you busy even in the winter months.

Would have been nice to have a physical map, such a big property and it’s beautiful. Too easy to get lost 😂
Nothing.

Beautiful house and grounds. Staff very friendly.
Bathroom had peeling paint on walls and ceiling, black mould in shower. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard and not comfortable at all. Hardly slept and woke up with a painful neck.
Trolley of dirty washing and dirty glasses left the whole of our stay outside our room.
