Location was fabulous: a block from the Metro, a 5-minute walk from the airport bus stop, many restaurants/sites within easy walking distance. It looks like a modern hotel but was almost certainly a complete remodel of a much older facility. The hotel is not cheap but we splurged on a "junior suite" which was offered at little incremental cost, and was a huge room with a separate seating area. Although we were on a second floor room on the street, the only noise was from the hallway from other guests returning from dinner around 11 PM. Sleep quality was excellent. The breakfast buffet was excellent; eggs and other hot dishes were made to order and arrived promptly.
Were I to return to Barcelona, I'd clearly want to stay here again.
It's not cheap! There's no gym although there is apparently a reciprocal agreement with a nearby gym which I did not utilize. The rooftop pool is not a particularly inviting space.

Great location! Easy walk to many attractions. The facility was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good and had many options including omelettes to otder.
Nothing I didnt like.

The property was conveniently located in the centre of everything close to the train station close to shops close to the Gothic quarters.
