Location, location, location!
The cost. I thought it was way too expensive for a very basic single bedroom with no wardrobes or shelves, no blinds, zero sound proofing and shared bathrooms. I have been travelling Europe for 5 months and this was the most expensive accommodation, more expensive than nice hotels (4 star) I've stayed in London, Paris and Norway.
I also had the unfortunate bad luck to have extremely loud neighbours who did not let me sleep for the 3 nights I stayed here...and I was wearing construction ear plugs.

Very well located, close to the beach and the old city. The restaurant at the base of this building has been owned by the family for more than 30 years. During the pandemic, they started this crazy project of creating an hotel on top. It has been opened for about a year.
Rooms are modern, extremely clean and offer most commodities. There’s even a small pool on the rooftop.
The restaurant offers both a generous breakfast and dinner, with Catalan inspired food on the menu.
Special mention for Jonas, the manager, that is so friendly and has an incredible energy and positive vibe.
Merci pour tout Jonas!
Nothing!

Great location
Cozy simple clean room
Helpful staff
Front desk was a bit noisy and my room was right by the desk. Buzzer for entry to the building should be quieter

Location is great. The facility is clean. The WiFi worked great. Most of the staff was nice. The overnite staff was horrendous.
Very loud at nite. No carpets so the wood floors make a lot of noise. You have to leave your key with the front desk which I also didn’t like. There’s was no kitchen. There was no coffee or tea offered in the morning. It seems like a new place rand is a money grab. It cost me 100 euros per night for a private room and you need to walk into the reception to get to the showers and bathrooms.
There are many better hostels to stay at in Barcelona that offer a lot of amenities and are quiet.
I didn’t sleep well at all because of the noise.

"I really liked the location and the vintage building. I stayed one night because I was heading back to Chicago but I book again next time I’m in the area."
