Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are located in a historic villa surrounded by an incredible estate so vast that it is hard to tell where the property ends. The surrounding forest is beautiful, and the whole place is incredibly peaceful and quiet. There is even a swimming pool on the grounds. It truly feels like stepping into a fairytale.
We originally came here to visit Cape Roca, but after arriving, we seriously considered cancelling our plans and simply staying at the villa to enjoy the beautiful grounds and explore the surroundings. I highly recommend setting aside some time to walk around the estate, as it is absolutely breathtaking and deserves to be explored.
The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Upon our arrival, she gave us a tour of her wonderful villa and shared its history with us. The property has been in her family since her parents bought it years ago. The paintings, sculptures, and other decorative objects are original and reflect the lifestyle of a bygone era. What makes the experience so special is how authentic everything feels. Nothing seems staged or artificially arranged — it feels like visiting a living museum or an old castle, where history is still very much alive.
We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful dining room, complete with elegant antique tableware. The view from our room was equally impressive, overlooking the surrounding forest and the swimming pool.
One practical tip for future guests: I strongly recommend travelling here by car, as the villa is in a rather remote location and taxi drivers may sometimes be reluctant to make the journey.
I wholeheartedly recommend this extraordinary place, not only for a relaxing getaway but also for the unique opportunity to experience something that feels like stepping back in time and visiting a beautiful historic museum. It is a truly special place that we will remember for a long time.

The owner was really kind and showed us around. The area is incredible. And you will catch the most beautiful sunsets ever. Very quiet.
It's a very old house. Like old. The room was outdated and had a specific smell, that i cant explain. The bathroom shower was not comfortable whatsoever. They offer breakfast but there aren't many options.

the hotel is very cozy and brings a nice atmosphere of ancient times which only improves the whole experience of visiting such a place like Sinatra. the garden is amazing and I am happy we found time to take some time from relaxing next to the pool
I am dissatisfied about the level of the service - 3 days there was no warm water in the room and nobody cared to answer my calls or messages !!!! The service don’t speak any English and even if they called someone it didnt work. The room was very humid and stinky because of that ( as the whole luggage after the stay). I wouldn’t be surprised if there is painted mold… I am pregnant and I sincerely wish I am not right as it can have very bad side effects. Not recommended to arrive without a car or a car that you care for, as the driveway is steep and in bad condition
