lovely building with an interesting history and beautiful surroundings. We had an immaculate 2 bedroom suite in a quiet court yard. The beds were comfy, living area spacious and the kitchen area well appointed. Both bedrooms had their own private bathroom one of which was a wet room with disabled facilities. The bar area was comfortable and we enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal. It would have been great to try more of the facilities including the pool and sauna but we were there for a wake and didn't have time.
The bar closed at 9pm whilst we were enjoying our meal, it would have been nice if we were told it was shutting and had the opportunity to have after dinner drinks. The tv was not a smart tv with apps we had to cast iPlayer onto tv. It is a little difficult to get to, if you miss the turning you have to continue until next exit. I have scored an 8 as I did not experience everything I am sure if I had it would be a 10.

Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff and excellent facilities.
Nothing.

The high ceilings, the refurbished kitchen and bathrooms.
The front of desk. One of the receptionist was rude and wasn’t helpful. The management was really good sorting out our issues.
It was one of the hottest days of the year, and it was announced but the property didn’t bother to provide adequate cooling apparatuses. The top rooms were extremely hot, we could barely sleep.
