The location is just off A38, and near some beautiful spots in Devon. The breakfast was great and evening food was good value. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
The bathroom shower needed a deep clean, had mould around the edges. The mattress was very lumpy. Make sure you let the staff know if you are leaving before 08:00 on a Sunday as it’s not clear how you leave, the main door is locked down to reception.

Like all old pubs, some of the decor in the room was a little tired but room was comfortable.

The Dartbridge Inn was a good place to stay, we went for a short stay to look around that part of Devon. The hotel had everything we needed for our stay. The room was neat, and had good facilities. The hotel itself was good and had a decent restaurant and bar area, that looked well maintained. The breakfasts were always very good, with plenty of choice. We also had dinner there, which could be booked, but not necessary on most days; the food then was pretty good too, with a varied menu. Parking was also provided at the rear of the accommodation, with easy access to the rooms, which was useful for coming and going at night and early in the morning.
The room was located close to the kitchen, with the extractor fans running into the night. It didn't disturb us, and we were supplied with earplugs, but i feel that it might cause issues with people who are light sleepers. The showers were modern, and took a bit of getting used to, and getting the right temperature.

Spacious room.
Went to breakfast (which ended at 10) at 09:55 am, and was turned away. Even thoug i was there before 10, which in itself is super early to finish breakfast on a Sunday. Staff was rude about it.
