Fantastic Stay, Amazing Hospitality!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa do Contador! Everything was excellent, from the delicious breakfast delivered fresh to our room every morning to the fantastic cleaning service that kept everything spotless.
The staff were truly amazing, always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel right at home.
A beautiful place with outstanding service and attention to detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended, and we would definitely come back!
Being right in the heart of Ponta Delgada parking can be a bit challenging. We found the perfect solution by using Uber for shorter trips around the city, usually costing around €5 per ride, and saving our rental car for exploring the rest of the island. This worked out perfectly and made getting around really easy.

Great place to stay for short-term rental feel but with some hotel amenities. Daily cleaning available, lobby coffee, pool and garden area. Rooms had nice space and everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The pool could use some maintenance (liner is coming up).

The breakfasts were very generous, the garden area was nice, the property is in a good location and we enjoyed our time in Ponta Delgada
I was very disappointed in the reality of the studio I was in compared to the photos. The photos show studios with nice balconies, dining table, comfy chairs. We had no balcony, a much smaller table and 2 small stools. I did raise this with the establishment during my stay, front desk promised to escalate but I got no response during the stay and subsequent emails have been disappointing as well, apparently, they claim, all studios are equal just the decor is different. If you don't care about a balcony or having a comfy chair or table big enough to eat at then fine but if you do, think twice because there are only 2 balconies like the one shown on this site in the entire hotel and you cannot select it.
