The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is really great and walkable to a few different areas and attractions. We had a first floor room with the outdoor tub and it was so relaxing and peaceful(although a little too hot) to get in after a long day of walking. Great amenities in the room - the espresso machine saved me. The shower was really nice and steamy.
If you get the breakfast and dinner, be warned, it is a set menu and you can't change what you are getting. So you better enjoy raw fish lol. It was good quality food but it would be nice to choose which dishes you want or at the very least, decline one of the courses.
The bed was rock hard, something we noticed at every place stayed in Japan.
There was a big cockroach bug in our room.

Everything! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities rooms food and amenities were great.
The price. Its a little too expensive per night for what we got. People with tattoos really do struggle for hotels with onsens in Japan
