Experience of sleeping on the floor and nice traditional deco homes. Very authentic. Quiet. Quick check in and check out.
Little warning, there is no kitchen available.

Lovely traditional style and the staff were very nice. Washing facilities were useful . The beds were comfortable . The location was perfect if you don’t want to be in the main tourist trap!
There was a strange smell in the bathroom that was a bit unpleasant but did not ruin the stay.

The property is beautiful and it’s a great experience to stay. Great location and walkable to Gion (around 30 mins) and lots of temples. Quiet area to retreat back to. Loved the pyjamas set out and facilities to do your own laundry. They also helped us with forwarding our luggage which was great.
The staff weren’t really available at the desk, no one was really there during our stay but they were responsive over email. We had to pay a late check in charge and if you’re checking in during normal hours you have to collect the keys from Kyoto station.

I wouldn't stay there again. Very noisy.
