We had a very comfortable room and the grounds on the banks of the Thames were stunning. The breakfast was excellent.
We had booked this property especially because it had a swimming pool- even though it was out of our way. However, when we received our confirmation, we were told the pool was closed but it was due to reopen 5 days before our visit. When we checked in, I asked where to find the pool only to be told it was still closed. For a hotel with spa and sporting facilities, this seemed entirely unacceptable.

My wife is gluten free and that wasn’t an issue with staff in the restaurant. They accommodated her exceptionally well. Reception very approachable and helpful too. Parking is excellent with no time limits imposed. Everywhere clean. Thanks.
Dining room in the evening was cold; a little heating would have been nice.

Good location, nice grounds
Room was poor quality, breakfast on second day disappointing - buffet ran out of non sliced bread, croissants, sausages, bacon, hash browns……..and took forever to replenish when the room was busy.
