Our lodge was comfortable, clean and warm. We visited last around 35 years ago and little had changed. The pool was good and we also enjoyed visiting the pool at Spey Valley. The friendly and helpful staff made our visit enjoyable and easy. Saving 10% on food at Spey Valley. Bed in bedroom was comfy...sofa bed not so much
Lack of ibformation regarding appliances and TV. Little info on attractions in the area. We arrived believing there too be arestaurant/cafe/bar on site as it is still advertised on the website. Slippy wooden flooring outside

The location of Lochanhully is its biggest asset. Set in a woodland with a fantastic little walk around the lochan. The cabins are also all set within the woodland and are well equipped and private. It is so peaceful and relaxing with all the local attractions within easy reach.

The view of trees and the pond are lovely, having a pool and playground is a great addition. The staff are lovely despite the issues of the run down “resort”.
It advertised a bar and restaurant only to arrive and it’s been closed for a year. The cabins are run down. They are mouldy, the beds feel springy and ancient. The main bedroom wasn’t even a double bed and two adults could barely squeeze on the bed. When they say self service they mean it. One frying pan. No dishwashing liquid. We even had to go buy a sponge. We are a family of 5 come all the way from Australia and the dryers did not work in the laundry. So we’d washed our clothes only for them to become mouldy and we had to pay for professional cleaning.
