Location, staff & comfort.
All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Breakfast and dinner were very good. Reception and housekeeping staff were very helpful. I appreciated having a room with a walk-in shower (no bath) and under floor heating was nice.
Room was quiet.
Television reception in room was very bad, constantly losing the signal and sometimes not coming back for 5 minutes or more.
Shame not to have had a view from room.
Dining room staff not very friendly and seemed to have a problem with understanding English.
One lift was out of action for the 6 days I stayed which meant that there was often a long wait for a lift. I have a disability so needed to use lift from First floor room but often already full. Luggage lift was available but that too was busy at certain times.

The location is well positioned for the majority.
The primary thing that frustrated us with this hotel is its deceptive marketing about the leisure facilities. It’s very scam like, they don’t clearly communicate that it costs extra to use the pool which is next door and not part of the hotel per se
