Hotel is clean and lovely. Some staff are friendlier than others. The location is good for views but a short walk to town which it hilly. Breakfast is a good selection of buffet foods and does have a menu you can order from.
The hotel is currently surrounded by building work which made it noisy. The breakfast menu to order food was not available to order from after the first day of our stay due to kitchen issues. But our main dissapointment was we chose this hotel because it had a pool as we have children, but they closed it for half of our stay.

The hotel is medium sized, located on a hill. It has good view of the mountains and from some rooms you can see the Fansipan train passing by. The lobby is at road level but considered as first floor. It is of good size with the only restaurant and seating area. There is one lift but it is not a problem. There is no café in the hotel. Also at the lobby level are the swimming pool, Spa and a small gym. The pool is outdoor, seen from the road and lobby. The hotel has five floors. I was upgraded from Deluxe Balcony to a Premier Deluxe Balcony overlooking the hotel entrance (Room 307), the two room types are not very different. It is spacious with sufficient storage spaces. There is a writing desk and chair, a sofa chair and a coffee table. There is 2L water and two cans of soda in the fridge which are complimentary and are replenished daily. There is plenty lighting in the room. The bathroom is medium sized with an enclosed spacious shower area, there is a good supply of toiletries and towels. Wi-Fi is good, it may get a bit slow at night, may be because of heavy use. The breakfast is very good. The food in the restaurant is also very good and reasonably priced. Bed is comfortable. The staff are very friendly and cooperative. Special thanks to Mr. Thanh, he has very good attitude and helped me sort out the issue with the laundry. The hotel laundry service is very expensive for such a 4-star hotel, but the hotel can send the laundry outside and is charged by the kilo, around $2.5/kilo. Opposite the hotel is SAPA Viettrreking, they have some rooms and can arrange adventure tours. But the main attraction is the excellent café with seating overlooking the mountains. It is a must visit. There are many restaurants, shops and massage parlors nearby. The town center is not far, an easy downhill walk with flat and gentle slopes, it may take about 10 minutes. The hotel is well designed, good priced and an excellent stay with great location
I used the outside laundry service offered by the hotel, it was very bad, a complaint was made with the reception. They followed it up with the laundry shop, I got a full refund. A plus point for the reception, especially Mr. Than. I hope this laundry service improves. The TV channels are local and regional, the English movie and news channels were not working. I hope this can be remedied. It would be good if the hotel reconsidered the in-house laundry prices, may be match Hanoi same grade hotel prices which are at least 60% cheaper.

The location was excellent, near enough to the Sun Plaza and far enough away to enjoy the quietness and scenery. The staff were exceptional, especially Lien Chau in reception. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic visit.

The service from the Reception staff was very good - especially that from Reeva: She explained all the relevant information and helped me with my transfer arrangements back to Hanoi. I slept peacefully every night of the 4 nights that I stayed. The hotel has a lovely pool
There is quite a number of building operations in the area.. The TV does not really benefit guests from western countries.
