Overall a good short stay in a budget hotel. Convenient location for my plans, shops nearby. Clean hotel
I REALLY appreciate having self-service access to drinking water - which was available in the cafe area. On that, having a cafe on site was very convenient. Breakfast was relatively dear at $35, but as a buffet, it was decent, good variety and could eat a large meal so I skipped lunch afterwards. Staff also appear to enjoy working in the hotel (caught the chef having a little sing along at the end of breakfast service!) as someone who worked in the hospitality industry for many years, I think happy staff speak volumes
Laundry facilities were available during my stay for a small cost

Just a few simple things which are not a big deal, and are expected in a more budget hotel - room obviously caters to both twin beds and a double/queen bed. The base doesnt appear to have breaks so bed moved around the room a lot, the mattress topper wasnt secure so had to adjust this several times as it would also move. These things arent deal breakers but are things which make the hotel more affordable but slightly reduce the comfort and convenience
