Fantastic location and great facilities
They need to highlight at checkin that parking at the property is additional. Reception took our car registration on arrival but did not mention then or when we checked out that we needed to pay for this at the meter outside on departure.

Location right next to Richmond nature reserve and top of Richmond Hill with amazing views. Lovely decor and styling of the interior of the hotel and rooms. excellent spa and unlike a lot of other hotels, a full length 20 m pool which allowed for proper swimming!
Restaurant food was good and the service was excellent and friendly
The room was lovely and had everything we needed, however my only criticism was that we paid for a superior double room, ours was on the ground floor, same level as the spa and there was no exterior window. This meant we couldn’t get any fresh air into the room & of course no view either, and couldn’t even look out of the window to see what the weather was doing before we left the hotel. I’m not sure whether all the superior rooms are on this floor, but next time I will check and probably rather pay less for a standard double with an exterior window as we would like to return.

Location of the hotel is good - room was spacious - spa facilities good - breakfast was fine but information not clear
Had to query the bill at check out - we were being overcharged. This was due to a ridiculous accounting system which the hotel needs to sort out - payment system needs updating and clarifying. Also the hotel bar , which was busy, closed at 10-30pm on the Saturday night - very strange and again needs updating - should be able to get a drink in a hotel bar until at least 11-30pm.

Location, restaurant and comfy bed
Spa was not good value- paid £25 pp to gain early access- outdoor hydropool was cold- one of the two hot tubs was closed- the floor was soaking wet- so slippers etc were drenched.
The rubbish from Housekeeping was stacked in the hallways- so our first impression on the way to the room was bags and bags of rubbish, dirty sheets, room service plates just stacked everywhere.
