I have stayed at Sol Ipanema Hotel several times. It is always my first choice in Rio.
Liked everything! Rooftop bar is great!

Central. Helpful staff supported with booking an evening out and advising on where to go.

Great location - just across the road from Ipanema beach. The pool view is really great!
Very expensive for what we got - not sure if this was due to a holiday but we felt we really overpaid. The rooms were good but for the price we paid I expected more. There was scaffolding on the front of the building so there was no view at breakfast. The lifts are slow.
