A truly "delightful" (*aprazível*) place, located on the street of the same name—Rua Aprazível—in the Santa Teresa neighborhood. It is an architectural gem: a grand old mansion set within a bucolic landscape, evoking a Rio de Janeiro defined by the glamour, luxury, and elegance of the early 20th century. From the moment I arrived on the evening of October 23, 2026, until my departure at noon on October 24, 2026, the level of care was exceptional. The hospitality was outstanding, with a welcoming team that was both kind and courteous. Breakfast was as complete as one could hope for—featuring fruit salad, juice, scrambled eggs, *pão de queijo* (cheese bread), *café com leite*, and other delicious treats, all served in the room. Furthermore, the property stands out for its well-preserved antique furniture and comfortable accommodations, which include air conditioning and a 24-hour electronic locking system. The premises are impeccably clean and organized, with fresh, high-quality bed linens. One must also mention the spectacular view of the city of Rio de Janeiro—complete with its historic tram system and lush, vibrant vegetation—as well as the pool area, a true hidden treasure that reveals a side of Rio that remains largely secret and unknown. It was a fantastic experience. God willing, I will certainly return. I would also like to thank Rafael, a staff member at the mansion, for our profound conversation by the pool that morning—pure wisdom.
