The Pin was great, plenty of parking and in a lovely setting
Room has seen better days. No lock on bathroom but a hole like its fell out, crack in ceiling, vent full of dust and no plugs next to the bed. Wardrobe door was on its way out and desk and table were clearly old furniture and scratched. Bar staff weren't great, asked for two gin and tonics and had to remind him about the second and ask for same garnishes. Reception staff were friendly but didn't ask if we wanted to add breakfast etc so we didn't bother. I was going to ask about an upgrade but since the woman on the desk didn't even get off her chair to check us in when it was a high desk so we practically just saw her forehead, thought it would be a lost cause. Most facilities I am sure the rating this hotel gets, our experience wasn't which is disappointing since we told them our visit was for a special occasion

The spa
Not as clean as could be

Lovely spa but I would recommend booking an upgraded room if possible as you get very limited space access otherwise
The location is a bit out of the way in terms of things to do and the food on site is overpriced I’d just stay with the sports bar food or the charcoa
