The location
Paid extra for superior room. Expected additionals in room ,bowl of fruit maybe! There was no extras and not even biscuits on tea tray. You get biscuits at Premier Inn .
Room decor was dated and grouting around bath dirty.
Leisure facilities excellent, charge for robe hire £4.99 excessive.
I booked this hotel for my husband’s 70th birthday. We had meal in restaurant on the Tuesday evening and when booking table I mentioned this. Was assured they would do something special. This did not happen, in fact waited nearly half an hour before we got drinks and water.
We did get a drink at bar after our meal but that was purely by chance after having a conversation with barman while I ordered the drinks.
