My wife and I had a very comfortable stay at the Three Swans. All of the staff, from Reception, to the bar and restaurant, were excellent: very friendly and helpful. I had a problem negotiating the parking app which was the only way of paying for parking in the station car park, behind the hotel. But Toby, the deputy manager, sorted it out for me. Our room was clean and comfortable, as were the public areas of the hotel. It’s in a great location, right in the centre of town. The inside of the pub is very modern, in contrast to its history and the look from the outside. As a traditionalist I wish the owners had preserved more of its internal heritage. However, I would be happy to recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Hungerford.

Had a room 205 (dog friendly), it was a corner room with a bath tub, which is unusual for dog rooms, and was a lovely surprise. The location was amazing as it was just around the corner from the train station. All the staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly and smiley. Not cracking even when couple of Karens were giving them a hard time for no reason.
Despite paying extra for a dog friendly room, there wasn’t even a dog water bowl provided. Had to ask at the bar. The heating wasn’t working and it was chilly. The English breakfast on the first day was quite small, had to make our own toasts, the toaster wasn’t plugged in.

Lovely staff nice surroundings downstairs
Room was noisy being right on the high street. Couldn't open up the secondary glazing to ventilate room. Uncomfortable mattress (very lumpy) and hard pillows
