Breakfast were fine. I had scrambled egg one morning and the full English on the second morning the room was comfy overall and clean. The bed was good.
I had to ask for extra milk in room, it was happily replenished 😊
Minor details: there were no stirrer’s provided for the cups when putting milk in.
Short cable to kettle: common problem.
Only two tea bags for a two night stay.
Used the milk provided on first morning.
My main observation was at £100pn the access to rooms is through yard or by back stairs above, the smokers area. The smell is horrible to non smokers.
£80 pn I would have been willing to eat at the Bell in evening. ( I bought some cheap meal deal at local Waitrose)
I enjoyed my stay in area, but for the B&b cost..
I choose this place on price, I understand this was lower than others in area. The Bell is not over charging compared to the general pricing but I and many feel that overall prices on B&b are too high.
I need to work 3 days to earn enough for Two nights stay.

A decent room with ensuite.
Friendly staff.
Our window frame was broken, rotten and flapping. No attempt had been made to effect a temporary repair. The. window was propped open with a toilet roll.
There is NO parking and options in the village are very limited.
The.full English breakfast was one of the poorest we have eaten. The fried eggs were very overcooked.
