It was a lovely annex to the White Heart Pub and the Breakfast was awesome…
An improvement would be to enable the smart TV to connect to the WIFI so we have access to Apps like Netflix…

The staff were very friendly, especially the girls serving the food in the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was excelent. The local bitter they served was superb. The room was comfortable for one night. But...
The heater in our room did not work properly. First it was difficult to get it going with a help of a member of staff and then it was impossible to regulate the temperature so it was running too hot. We would have given the hotel much better rating if it was not for this problem which unfortunately spoiled it for us.

The room was very clean and had everything needed. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were really friendly.

The pub and the food (especially breakfast) were lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable despite the heat of the room.
The room was disappointing in a dark corner of the grounds behind the kitchen and separate from the pub. The patio doors were 2 feet away from a high wall and we couldn’t open them to let in air as we have a dog and it could have escaped the property as it wasn’t enclosed. So it was unbearably hot despite having a fan. The loo hadn’t seen a brush in years. It wasn’t good. And the other bathroom fittings were grubby too. Such a shame as the team were lovely and the pub was great, with excellent food. Despite its ideal location in Wiltshire, so close to both the M4 and Avebury, we would not book again. Sorry folks!
