I loved my stay here the owners are so so incredibly friendly and thoughtful, they did their best to make my stay the most comfortable and memorable ever!
They put a good heater in my room so i wouldn’t get cold and stay cozy (which worked wonderfully) they gave me lots of local recommendations (that being food related or attractions to do), they even gave me a thermos and coffee when i told them i had to go to a day trip to the highlands!!
I will never forget everything they did for me and the moments i spent with them, they definitely made my stay as a solo traveler, less lonely and so much more fun!
Thank you so much again for everything you did for me! I loved every single moment!
Also the location of the house is in a quiet and calm neighborhood and walking around at night i always felt safe, so if you’re a woman solo traveler i recommend it!

The room was absolutely beautiful, we loved the decor and how it reflected the atmosphere of the city. The location was fantastic - the bus stops were 5-7mins walk away and buses ran often (to centre it was about 15mins ride). There were many pubs/cafes/restaurants and grocery stores one could go to even later in the evening. The owners were also very lovely (just as everyone in the city we talked to) and I really appreciated they refilled the tea bags and milks/coffee every day.
It's not really complaint as it's about preference but the pillows were quite high for me (but I still slept well) and the shower had a fixed shower head and no hose which was quite impractical.

The location was nice. We liked being in Stockbridge instead of being right downtown among the main tourist areas. Quite a few cute shops to explore. We still had an easy enough time getting to and from some of the main downtown tourist areas via bus. The room was also very clean and we liked the bright colour scheme. For a basement, the garden view was nice.
Our room was in the basement which was quite damp and a bit unpredictable with temperature. It smelled like a damp basement, we had to kill a couple of spiders and 1 slug that must have squeezed in under the window, and I found myself having some breathing difficulties needing to take allergy pills. It was quite expensive after conversion to CAD for a small room in a basement so not sure if the value is there. However I appreciate the effort put in to make the window view feel like a quaint garden.
