Exceptional old style pub.
Excellent meals and breakfast was fabulous
Staff were great and very helpful.
Room was large and well equipped. Parking out the front was a bonus..
Locals were very friendly and welcoming.
Very good value for money and we would definitely stay there again.
Can't say enough about how well we were treated. Made to feel at home.
Highly rated and would definitely recommend a look.
Fantastic place to base yourself to explore the area.
Truly a gold star effort.
Highly recommended.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like. Only problem was we could not stay longer.

It was in a nice area.
It was a little run down- the shower in our room wasn’t very good at all but the bedroom was fine and bed clean and comfortable.

This was a stop over for us on the way to Scotland. Our room was huge and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet even though it is above the bar and restaurant.
A 5pm check-in was a bit later than usual and there is no early check in or wait in the bar as the pub doesn't open until 5pm. The meals were very basic and a bit expensive for what they were.
