Location for what I was doing was excellent, nice and warm in building, staff were very nice and helpful, food was excellent
Very tired rooms were really the only things that let it down, with a major refurbishment could be a first class hotel

I've stayed many places and rarely been shown more care. Anything we asked about was dealt with thoroughly, cheerfully and generously. Anita and Mandy were especially helpful.

The staff were lovely & couldn't help enough.
The food was very good, we ate in the restaurant in the evening & breakfast was very good & also a great choice.
The hotel is old, which we knew beforehand, but the rooms are very tired, & need some updating & TLC, esp the bathrooms.
It was clean though.
Just a note to say that the menus in the room should reflect the choices in the restaurant. We had decided what to eat but had to change as they weren't on the menu in the restaurant.
