Location was just perfect. Buses run often and it's 10 min walk from Arthur's Seat. Breakfast was amazing and we had a choice of gluten free porridge, muffins and cereal bars. Shower was perfect, room size was good with the telly and a coffee table. I was travelling with my 9 yo and we were very comfortable there. The street is very quiet what helps if you want to rest. Exceptionally good room.

Breakfast as they described. Coffee machine excellent. It would have been nice to have a choice eg I don't like croissants but I got one every day.
Nothing really. For the price it is quite exceptional, Edinburgh being a very expensive city to stay in.

The building is beautiful and located in a pleasant area of Edinburgh, close to Holyrood Hill. It is about a half-hour walk from central Edinburgh, but there is also frequent and good-quality bus service to the centre. My room was small but fully adequate to my needs, and daily servicing was very adequate.
Nothing in particular. Note that the property does not promise to offer a full breakfast, and it does not do this. A breakfast basket is left in the room each day, and this offers a very nice start to the day, along with the provided coffee or tea. However, I had to supplement it with a few food items purchased elsewhere and in advance to have a full breakfast. There are grocery stores within a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

Very clean
Comfortable bed
Small single room
Didn't use them, but there were draw spaces if you were staying for longer
You have to walk a little way along the corridor to the bathroom which has a pin code to enter - really not bad at all, just slightly inconvenient and worried about waking the nextdoor guest when getting up early!
No recycling facilities - just one bin and breakfast with lots of packaging as it was wrapped goods in a basket.
