The place is really nice, with plenty of activities and facilities available, making it a great spot to enjoy your stay. There are lots of backpackers around, creating a friendly and social atmosphere. The location is excellent, right in front of the beach, and the breakfast was very good. The food menu also offers plenty of great options.
The price is a little high for a hostel, especially considering the average accommodation prices in Sri Lanka. However, given the great location, the range of activities and facilities available, and the overall experience offered, I think the price can still be justified.

The best staff in any hostel/hotel I’ve ever been.
Special mention to Namal, Madu, Umesh, Ishan, Teema, Chanuka, Deneth, Rasmika, Hasindu, Dilshan, Sasiru, Sachintha, Sadamal,, Kani, Vihara, Kasun Delaka, Lucky, Asanaka, Udepa, Arosh and Tevin.
Very friendly and attentive service. They even let me beat them all at pool.
Hostel itself is great as well with the dorms basically being like a mini private room. Showers are nice too.
They also have regular events, a pool, pool table, and free surfboard rental.
The shirts are cool as well

Beautiful place, nice Saturday party
The service level is genuinely appalling. The staff is just not properly trained. Housekeeping would go into the dorm at 11 AM and talk loudly for an hour, completely disregarding the possible presence of sleeping guests. They were unable to answer basic questions about the place and requests like asking a staff member to point the way to the dorm because I had gotten lost on the property felt like such excruciating and complex tasks to them that they would just roll their eyes and call a “superior”, who did just that thing all over again. I felt absolutely not taken care of during my stay and other people I talked to shared the exact same sentiment.
