I stayed in a pod behind the main hotel, located in a wooded area. The pod was great for me as a single occupant, it was modern and warm and had a TV, iron & board, kitchen sink, tea/coffee, shower room w/toilet and basin, a double bed which was very comfy. It was super-dark within the pod and the pitter-patter of rain on the roof was comforting. The staff were very helpful and dropped what they were doing to help. One staff member recalled many taxi numbers from memory to arrange a booking for me.
The draught beer in the hotel bar was Italian lager; Scotland has some great draught beers which I would have chosen given the opportunity.
The WiFi provided in the pod by the hotel was not great at all, I had a better connection using the cellular network.

The pods were cosy and warm and didnt hear much outside noise despite a wedding happening.
No bathroom lock. That was only thing negative.

Loved the look of the property, the inside was lovely.
Stains on the carpet next to the bed, no towels in the bathroom so couldn’t shower, rang the reception to see where I can get towels, got told they will bring some up to me and over an hour went by and still didn’t get anything, so end up going down to get them. As well as this may not be there fault but when booking the room it showed photos of a bath but on arrival we had no bath and that wasn’t specified in our booking so I would definitely recommend working on somehow adding that to booking.
