The location was really good… Right on the lake with a sandy Beach.
Every room faced the beach and had tables and chairs outside to enjoy the view.
The traffic on Highway 31 was pretty bad. Hard to get on and off, especially turning into the resort and then trying to get back out again.

I loved the location, waking up so close to the beach and being able to access it from the balcony.
The night attendant was super helpful. The kitchen had all basic amenities and as a family who usually always uses the pull out couch, my son said it was comfortable and not noisy. With the couch open its a little crowded, but absolutely manageable by moving the coffee table and armchair. Wifi was quick for gaming and work.
The fireplace/TV stand heater was a really nice touch for the chill in October, we used it every day. The pool is clean and we had a nice swim, the pool table/game room occupied a few hours of our time.
Overall this place was my favorite stay on our roadtrip.
Loved that both doors had access to the balcony, and sliding screens.
The beach is clean, with lawn chairs and sunning chairs, a volleyball court and a nice grass strip.
The wall ac units both started making noise, but the attendant came within 5 mins at 1145pm and fixed it, I'd highly suggest checking the water filter/drain or asking them to be cleaned before you fall asleep.
The shower head was gunky, and someone's hair was stuck on a blanket like a hairball from the dryer.
The fitness room is cardio only, and could use a small weight rack or just adjustable dumbells.

The best part of our stay was the incredible view. It was absolutely stunning and made the experience memorable. The suite was also very spacious and offered plenty of room to relax.
Unfortunately, the property is in desperate need of updating. The carpeting throughout the hotel looked old, stained, and worn out, which gave the space an unclean appearance. The furniture was outdated, and the overall condition of the property felt tired and neglected. While the room itself was large and the view was amazing, the hotel did not feel as clean or well-maintained as expected.
With new flooring, fresh paint, updated furnishings, and a general refresh, this property could be an outstanding destination. For now, the views and spacious accommodations are the main reasons to stay, but the condition of the hotel leaves significant room for improvement.
While there were some positives to the stay, several aspects of the property were disappointing. The hotel still uses traditional metal keys for room access, which feels outdated compared to the electronic key card systems used by most hotels today. From a guest perspective, this raises security concerns, as physical keys can potentially be copied and used after a guest checks out.
