Rodeway Inn & Suites Brunswick near Hwy 1

We had a wonderful stay at the Roadside Inn and are happy to add it to our family’s list of favorite places to stay in New England! As a military family of five who travels frequently, we’re always looking for comfortable, affordable accommodations that offer good value without unnecessary frills. The Roadside Inn delivered exactly that! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the price was excellent, and the property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We actually discovered this location through a recommendation after staying at the Red Carpet Inn in Plymouth, New Hampshire, which has long been one of our family’s absolute favorites. We also happen to know one of the co-owners, so we were excited to give this property a try. We’re certainly glad we did! One pleasant surprise was the complimentary breakfast. While relatively simple, it was more than sufficient for our family, with warm waffles, juice, coffee, cereal, and fruit. It’s always nice to have breakfast included, especially when traveling with children, and it adds even more value to an already affordable stay. Parking was another convenience we appreciated. There was plenty of available parking, and we were able to park directly in front of our room, making it incredibly easy to unload our luggage and get everyone settled. What we appreciate most about properties like this is that they offer honest value, genuine hospitality, and a comfortable place to rest without charging the premium prices increasingly common throughout New England. We’re delighted to have found another dependable, family-friendly place to stay and will absolutely return whenever our travels bring us back to coastal Maine. We would happily recommend the Roadside Inn to friends, fellow military families, and anyone looking for affordable accommodations in the area!

There were only a few minor things worth mentioning. Some of the amenities and furnishings are a little dated and could eventually benefit from updates. The complimentary breakfast is also somewhat limited compared with what you might find at a larger hotel. However, neither of these things detracted from our stay in the slightest. We weren’t looking for luxury accommodations or an elaborate breakfast buffet. We wanted a clean, comfortable, affordable place where our family could relax and get a good night’s sleep, and that’s exactly what we found. The breakfast had plenty of options to get our family started in the morning, and the friendly staff, convenient parking, and excellent value more than made up for any minor shortcomings. For the price, we genuinely couldn’t ask for much more!

The location was perfect - just a few miles from the event we were attending, and it's very convenient to the local stores and restaraunts.

Nothing - it was a nice room and the staff were exceptional.

Breakfast was great. I like waffles. The owner upgraded me to a suite at no extra charge. The location of this Rodeway was close to the Navy base where my reunion was
