Location and cleanliness. Staff were pleasant! Easy check in process.
Everything was good! Not a fan of the $5 water I the room. Some locations offer 2 complimentary bottles or water coolers on each floor.

The welcoming staff was excellent. I checked in on Friday evening. And the staff was very polite. The hotel is really clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was next to everything making it easy to get around Charlotte.
During check out the front desk person was very rude. I had left a day early so I canceled the last night in which the previous staff assisted me with. I had asked her for a receipt for the updated charge. She was very nasty acting and condescending. She said that I can check once I recieve the email. I explained to her the situation. She asked for my name and I told her. Then she asked for my card number. I told her it may not be the same numbers because I ised tap to play and they scramble the numbers. She told me oh well she can't help me
I showed her the pending charges on my account. After we went back and forth she finally gave me the price.

Great staff.
Toilet kept running, coffee machine didn't work (but the staff got us one that did). There was a burnt electrical smell in the hall. We ate chicken wings that were ok but felt we paid too much for the quality. The room was 65 degrees (f). Too cold. We couldn't turn it down but found out that we could control the thermostat on the wall- not at the A/C unit itself. It would have been nice if we had known that in advance.

Clean, comfortable rooms
Did early check out due to a death in the family and wasn’t refunded the days left when I’ve only stayed ONE night(booked for four). Booked through booking.com and they’ve reached out SEVERAL times via email and phone calls to Courtyard to resolve the issue and it’s fallen on deaf ears. I just wish I could be refunded. I’ve paid for days I’m not there.
