Small friendly atmosphere. Easy to get to know the other guests in the hostel and around the fire. The fire is a wonderful feature. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The walk from parking. However, this worked and made the stay feel more away from it all in the bush.

Location is outstanding, right on the Icefields Parkway. Information provided ahead of time was really useful and meant we were totally prepared for the trip. Seemed to be a nice group/community feel when we arrived but we kept ourselves to ourselves as we had an early start the next day.
It is basic, but that is made crystal clear ahead of time.
Unlit path to toilet in the dark a little scary, but that's a me problem.
Was told to pay on arrival but they took money from my bank 24hrs in advance, wasn't an issue, just threw me for a minute trying as the payment is taken from a location in Vancouver.
