It was good. However, it is showing its age. The bathroom sink was rusty. The kitchenette sink tap leaked. Not big issues, just noted. The rooms look dated and could use brighter, more welcoming colored paint colours and an update; the bathrooms could get walk-in showers like most newer hotels. The lack of places to plug in my electronics was notable. In the end, it was fair value for what it is now.
The back parking lot was not well lit. The women I spoke with who were staying at the hotel said that, when asked where they parked, they didn't feel safe parking out back.

Friendly staff, great year-round indoor pool and hot tub, restaurant attached.
It’s a bit dated. Beware of marauding hockey teams during the season.

"The value for money was great. It’s an older property but is well kept and has a lot of facilities for everyone to enhance your stay. Was surprised to see the indoor hockey rink and pickle ball court."
