About this apartment rental
Modern vacation apartment right on Steinwarder—just 50 meters from the beach! Balcony, Wi-Fi, separate bedroom, and much more included! This beautifully renovated and lovingly furnished mezzanine apartment offers a modern vacation atmosphere for two people in 52 m² of space. From the living room and the loggia, you can enjoy views of the dunes along the Baltic Sea beach. The well-maintained “Windjammer” building is located directly on the shore of the inland lake. In just a few steps, you’re at the Baltic Sea beach or strolling along the new inland lake promenade to the modern marina and the pier.

The “Windjammer” house is in an ideal vacation location on the north side of the inland lake! The beach is just a few steps away. And in general, the house is a great starting point for everything you might want to do on vacation:
Restaurants, a playground, a skate park, and kiosks are all in the immediate vicinity. A bakery, bike rental, a mini-golf course, and—for the more athletic guests—a fitness center are also just under 800 meters away. There’s a great hiking trail leading to the cliffs—depending on the season, you might spot Galloway cattle and their calves there.
Our charming old town is about 2 km away—the best way to get there is to stroll along the lakefront promenade right into the heart of the city. With its traditional fishing harbor, numerous shopping options, delicious restaurants, the “Graswarder” nature reserve, the lovely beach, and the longest pier on the coast, our little harbor town has a lot to offer.
You can conveniently park your car in the house’s parking lot—and feel free to leave it there. In the summer, in addition to the regular buses, the Heiligenhafen “Bimmelbahn” (tourist train) runs, allowing you to quickly reach the city or the harbor, or you can simply rent a bike from the local bike rental shop. This gives you great flexibility. In general, Heiligenhafen is a great starting point for all kinds of bike tours: you can reach Großenbrode in just over an hour—a bit faster on an e-bike—or enjoy the unique view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge and bike straight to Fehmarn.
