Hotel Urbain Hiroshima is just a 10-minute walk from Hiroshima Station, which is the city’s main transport hub. The walk is straight and completely flat, so even with luggage it was easy and convenient.
(Take the North Exit of the station then cross the main road using the over head pedestrian passage to access the lift.)
The hotel provides all the necessary information for getting around Hiroshima, including how to visit Miyajima Island, the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park. The staff speak English and, as expected in Japan, were very polite and helpful.
Housekeeping was good, the bed was comfortable, and the linen was clean. The room was, as usual in Japan, small in size but considering the excellent location and reasonable room rate, I think it was definitely worth the money.
Overall, a convenient and good-value place to stay in Hiroshima.

We could walk to accommodation easily with our luggage and our luggage was kindly allowed to drop off before booking in. We had three rooms side by side for five of us. The breakfast was great catering for both types- Japanese or toast, jam, cereals, juices, trees, coffee etc. we would definitely stay here again
The rooms are small and tricky to place a large suitcase
